Dr. Ashok Thomas is our senior Spine Surgeon. He has extensive experience in Advanced Spine surgeries including Microscopic spine surgeries for Disc prolapse, Spine fractures, Scoliosis Surgeries, complex reconstruction of spine, Minimally Invasive Surgeries.

He has been trained at various centres of National and International repute. He is the first , and presently the only Spine Surgeon in Southern half of Kerala to hold the Superspeciality Fellowship Degree in Spine Surgery (FNB Spine Surgery) offered by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. FNB (Spine Surgery) is presently the only degree recognized for registration by Medical Council of India in the field of Spine Surgery.

FNB Spine Surgery (2010- 2012)- Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, India IASA Fellowship Spine Surgery (2014) – Cedars Sinai Medical Centre, Los Angeles, USA IGASS fellowship (2013) – Sahlgrenska university, Sweden Clinical Research Award by Association of Spine Surgeons of India 2012 He is a frequent speaker at National conferences . He has published scientific articles in International Spine journals and has also authored Text book chapters. He has a brilliant academic record throughout his career.
